COMMERCIAL SOLAR SYSTEM - Allambi Care, Charlestown NSW
Not for Profit Allambi Care at Charlestown wanted to reduce their ongoing electricity consumption and improve environmental factors like reducing emissions however they wanted to do so in a way that brought the local community together and gave local families a chance to invest in a green commercial-scale solar system.
Partnering with Allambi, The Pingala Co-operative and Lake Macquarie city council we were able to provide just this experience, reducing emissions and bringing the community funded project together.
In October 2019, Solar Power Australia completed the installation of a 60.06kW Commercial Solar System comprising of 156 x 385W SunPower Performance Series P19 solar modules coupled with 156 x Enphase IQ7+ Micro Inverters.
In April of 2021, the system had produced over 100MegaWatt hours of solar energy; this is the equivalent of planting 1,808 trees or powering the lighting on the Eiffel Tower for 41 nights straight!
