Newcastle Council recently made some major changes to the foreshore area and removed the train line that cut the city in half. As part of this project, a new pedestrian crossing was installed.

Solar Power Australia installed 2 x solar-powered street lights that were capable of providing the required luminaries to meet category PX3 in AS1158 providing excellent illumination and safety for this high pedestrian traffic area.
